Bob Mossadeghi – Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner
Bob Mossadeghi is one of the three original founders of Morant information Systems. Mr. Mossadeghi has been the lead project manager on many AMS projects, and has provided oversight on more than 450 association projects. He was the founder and chairperson of the Association Technology Council, a group dedicated to serving the exclusive education needs of association executives. Mr. Mossadeghi has also served on various Technology Advisory Committees for the American Society of Association Executives and the Greater Washington Society of Association Executive Industry Partner committee. Prior to joining Morant, Bob worked as a computing services engineer on information technology projects at major oil industrial facilities in New Jersey, New York, Maryland and Louisiana.
Mr. Mossadeghi holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Syracuse University. He has also completed numerous advanced courses in computer science. He holds several IT certifications including Software Success management, and Accounting Certified Consultant and System Solutions consultant.
David Hanna – Director of Web Development
Mr. Hanna began his career as a computer scientist at NSA and has more than 14 years experience in the IT field. He moved into solution architecture and enterprise architecture roles working at Carefirst where he became the lead Enterprise Architect. While there he won numerous service and leadership awards including the company’s first CIO Excellence award. Mr. Hanna began his career with Morant in 2000 and has worked on more than 70 new member based organization projects. He served as the senior Web developer on the DSTS Web Conference Management System.
Hooman Mossadeghi – Senior Partner and Technical Director
Hooman Mossadeghi has been a principal of Morant Corporation since its inception in 1983. He is the chief designer of Morants Association Management Package (AMPAC) software series and has overseen every revision and upgrades since 1983. Mr. Mossadeghi has held the position of designer or chief programmer on more than 485 member based projects for client organizations ranging in size from a staff of 5 to over 182. His work has been featured many times in publications of the Greater Washington Society of Association Executives. Prior to joining Morant, he held project engineering positions in California and Washington, DC. Most recently with Parsons Engineering, Inc. Mr. Mossadeghi holds a Masters Degree in Engineering from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
Tayfun Gerdaneri - Senior Programmer and Network Specialist for Morant
Tayfun joined Morant Information Systems in 2002 and has worked on more than 110 member based projects. He has developed mission critical customizations for the member based clients. Prior to joining Morant, Mr. Gerdaneri spent over ten years with Interactive Products, TRW and Bell Atlantic organizations in Database development projects. Mr. Gerdaneri received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Strayer College in 1991. He also holds a Bachelors degree in teaching and an Associate Degree in office management.
Karen Bigham - Senior Project Manager
Karen has more than 20 years of experience with AMS systems and the association industry. Karen is a graduate of the University of Nevada-Reno. Shortly after completion of graduate school at Central Connecticut State University, Karen relocated to the DC Metro area, and has since been employed by associations, either as an employee or a consultant. She was with the DC Bar for seven years as the Director of Information Systems, and she has also served as Director of Membership for the American Occupational Therapy Association and for the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf.
